A Newington woman wins a big jackpot recently in scratch off lottery game

A Newington woman won $30,000 playing the CT Lottery. Maria Dulce Marques won playing 30X Cash 10th Edition.

She purchased the lucky ticket Monday at Newington Food Land. The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.

There are 93 remaining top prizes of $30,000 left in the 30X Cash 10th Edition game, according to CT Lottery.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
