A Raleigh man wins a big jackpot recently in scratch off lottery game

A Raleigh man won $100,000 after he bought a $25 scratch-off ticket at a store on U.S. Highway 70 in Garner.

Ahmad Ayesh bought the lucky ticket from Raj Enterprises Inc. He went to lottery headquarters in Raleigh on Tuesday and took home $71,257 after taxes.

The Spectacular Riches game debuted October 2021 with eight $1 million top prizes and 20 $100,000 prizes. Two $1 million prizes and five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed.

The winner has to reach the nearest lottery headquarters for further documentation formalities and for claiming their winning prize money, lottery officials said.

They also announced that the winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity.
