A winning $500,000 lottery ticket is sold out at Rockford Schnucks

The Illinois Lottery says a lucky someone bought a $500,000-winning Diamond Dollars scratch-off lottery ticket at a Rockford grocery store. The ticket was purchased for $10 at the Schnucks at 3134 11th St.

The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. This isn’t the first time the Schnucks on 11th Street sold a ticket that helped someone hit the jackpot.

In November 2023, a $250,000 Crossword ticket was sold for $10. The Illinois Lottery says winners should write their name on the back of their ticket and and keep it safe until they’re ready to claim their prize.
