Again Massachusetts state lottery sold out a $1 million Lottery ticket

A Massachusetts State Lottery ticket sold in Northampton won its buyer a $1 million prize Thursday.

Lottery officials said the winning ticket, in the “$4,000,000 Spectacular” game, was the top lottery prize claimed in the state Thursday.

The ticket was sold at a Sunoco gas station at 776 North King St., near Hatfield. No other lottery players in Massachusetts cashed tickets worth more than $15,000 on Thursday.

Other top tickets won $10,000 prizes for players in Agawam and Springfield. Overall, there were more than 540 winning lottery tickets worth at least $600 claimed or sold in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 10 in Springfield and 17 in Worcester.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of all the winning tickets each day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
