Alabama man wins Florida Lottery ticket worth $2 million

A lucky Alabama man named Nekevie Guilford won Florida Lottery's Mega Millions jackpot worth $2 million after matching all five of the white ball numbers but not the Mega Ball number.

The winning ticket was sold at Big Boss Stores on US Highway 331 South in Defuniak Springs, FL. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The next Mega Millions drawing will be held this evening at 10 p.m. with an estimated $429 million jackpot.

Mega Millions is an American multi-jurisdictional lottery game and it is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions is drawn on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
