An Allegheny County woman wins a big jackpot recently in scratch off lottery

An Allegheny County woman has hit the jackpot after claiming the top prize in a Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off game.

The woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous, won a $3 million prize from the game, “100X the Cash.” She purchased the ticket at the Shop 'n Save in Allison Park and matched all seven numbers to win the top prize.

“I was in shock and couldn’t believe it!” the woman said. “This is a blessing and I’m so grateful.”

The woman chose to receive her winnings in a lump sum payment, which came to a total of $2,190,000 after taxes.

She plans to use the money to pay off her mortgage and take a dream vacation to Hawaii.

The Pennsylvania Lottery has awarded more than $2.2 billion in prizes this year, including the top prize won by the Allegheny County woman.
