Blaine Lake Woman Discovers $200K Winning Lottery Ticket in Wallet Months After Purchase

Karleigh Warkentin from Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan had a stroke of luck when she discovered a $200,000 winning lottery ticket tucked away in her wallet months after purchasing it for the Lotto Max draw on November 1, 2022.

After scanning the ticket at a self-checker, she double-checked it multiple times before realizing the amount she had won.

Warkentin plans to use the money to pay off some debt and potentially invest in a cabin.

She expressed her joy in being able to share the experience with her family. The winning ticket was purchased from Betty’s Diner at 701 Main St.
