The $1 Christmas Gift Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased from TSG Burpengary News, Shop 22, Burpengary Plaza, 177-183 Station Road, Burpengary.

“I’m great!” the gleeful woman laughed when officials reached out to confirm the win.

“I don’t normally play, but my sister organized some mini-games to play on Christmas Day and had Instant Scratch-Its tickets as prizes.

“I won one of the games and she gave me the scratchie. Next thing I know, I’m looking at a $10,000 win! “It was a massive surprise!

“I’ve got to give it to her – she knows how to pick a great prize!

“I will share the winnings with her and use the rest for home renovations.

“We’ve just started some so it’s come at a perfect time.

“What a fabulous way to end the year!”
