Footscray mum is ready to fly to France after winning $2 million Tattslotto prize

A lucky Fotscray mom became a multi-millionaire thanks to a $2 million Tattslotto win from last weekend's draw.

The winner held the division one prize in TattsLotto draw 4291 on Saturday 3 September.

The winning ticket was purchased online at the lott official website.

The Lottery official talked to the winner and confirmed the win.

“Is it true?! I’m breathless. I can’t think!” she laughed.

“I saw my TattsLotto entry won something on The Lott app yesterday. At first, I thought I’d won $2,000, but then I saw a few more zeros. I instantly thought it was some sort of scam or a glitch.

“I haven’t told anyone yet. I wasn’t sure if the news was really true.

“I’m also flying interstate to see some family soon, so I’ll gather everyone around to tell them.

“I’m going to help out my family with the prize.

“I also thought my retirement was further away, but now I can retire even sooner. Woo-hoo!

“I’ve been saving to go to France for more than five years. The pandemic has put a spanner in the works, and I’ve had to hold off on my travel plans.

“But, oh my goodness, I can fly business class to France now - just saying that makes it feel so surreal. I can’t believe it!
