Gaston resident won $30,000 worth jackpot in the Mega Millions draw

According to representatives from the S.C. Education Lottery, a Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $30,000 was sold somewhere in Gaston. 

The winning lottery ticket was sold at a Get N Go, located at 106 S. Carlisle St.

Originally the prize was about $10,000 but the lucky player also purchased the Megaplier option, their winnings tripled to $30,000.

The ticket matched four white ball and a Mega ball, the winning numbers were 2, 33, 38, 57 and 70, while the Megaball number was 13.

The winner has 180 days from the day of draw to claim there lottery prize, afterwards the lottery ticket will expire and won't be claimed.
