Lanark Highlands Health-Care Worker Wins $249K in Lotto 6/49
A healthcare worker from Lanark Highlands, Julie Leidecker, has won the second prize of $249,324 in the Lotto 6/49 draw held on December 14.
Leidecker, who plays the same set of random numbers for every draw, only found out about her big win two weeks after the draw, when she saw an email from OLG that was sitting in her inbox.
She plans to use the money to pay off her vehicle and mortgage, and save the rest for retirement.
Leidecker is excited about her win and is looking forward to a better year ahead.
