Lucky Little Rock woman won Lucky for Life lottery game worth $400k

A lucky hospital worker from Little Rock named Shirley Washington won Lucky for Life lottery game of Arkansas Scholarship Lottery worth $400,000.

The winning ticket was purchased through the Jackpocket app on November 30 and instead of taking the $25,000 a year life, Washington took the cash option of nearly $400,000.

The winning numbers were: 5, 6, 11, 15 and 30. The winner matched five numbers without the Lucky Ball number 9. 

The winner recently claimed her winning amount from the lottery headquarters and took home $390,000 after state and federal taxes.

Washington plans to help her mother with house remodeling.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is run by the government of Arkansas. Lucky for Life's two highest prize tiers ($1000-per-day and $25,000-per-year) are "lifetime" prizes; winners of either tier can choose cash instead.
