Lucky Massachusetts State woman won $20,000 a Month for 10 Years

A place with “lucky” in the name sounds like the perfect place to win millions and that is exactly what a Massachusetts woman did.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Joyce Doncaster is the winner of a $20,000 a Month for 10 Years prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Decade of Dollars” $10 instant ticket game. Doncaster, who is from Quincy, chose the annuity option on her prize and received the first 12 months of payments for a total of $240,000 (before taxes).

She will receive an additional $240,000 per year in each of the next nine years.

She purchased her winning ticket at Lucky Shamrock located at 263 Beale St. in Quincy.

The store receives a $24,000 bonus for the sale of the winning ticket
