Macomb County man wins Michigan Lottery’s scratch-off game worth $1 million
A lucky man from Macomb County named Allen Burbary won a whopping sum of $1 million playing Michigan Lottery’s “The Big Spin” game.
The winning ticket was sold on the Big Spin show, which was hosted by former Detroit Piston John Salley.
He plans on paying bills with his winning amount and saving the remainder for his retirement.
The winner recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and took home his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $634,000 rather than the annuity.
The Michigan Lottery offers numerous on-line and scratch-off games, giving players a wide variety of prize possibilities.
To play Michigan Lottery scratch games, a player scratches off a ticket; each game consists of different themes, play styles and prize structures. The Lottery averages over 70 new scratch games per year. These games are priced from $1 to $50, with prizes up to $6 million.
