Manitoba resident won Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth $1 million

A lucky Manitoba resident won Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth $1 million by matching all the winning numbers.

The winning ticket was purchased from Al’s Lucky Lotto at 1450 Main Street in Dauphin on November 5.

The winning numbers were: 24831841-05. And the winner is planning on using some money to help out family, especially the kids with post-secondary education.

Lotto 6/49 is one of three national lottery games in Canada. 

Winning numbers are drawn by the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) every Wednesday and Saturday, executed with a random number generator.

Each purchased line includes one entry into the Gold Ball Draw, identified by a ticket number; this number can only be matched exactly, and does not offer secondary prizes for matching partial digits.
