Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1.3 billion sold in Lebanon had been claimed

Mega Millions lottery player who was holding up $1.3 billion jackpot has finally came forward to claim there prize. 

The winning lottery ticket was sold for the drawing Jan. 13 at the Hometown Gas & Grill in Lebanon, Maine. 

The winner decided not to reveal there identity and remain anonymous. 

The winner chose the cash option of a one-time, lump sum payment and took home $723,564,144 before taxes.

“We congratulate the winner of the Mega Millions jackpot and wish them all the best as they consider how to best use their recent winnings,” the store owner said. 

Retailer also received a bonus of $50,000 for selling the winning lottery ticket.
