Michigan Man's Bar Night Turns Fortuitous with $160,000 Lottery Win

Rodd Cunningham, a 49-year-old from Michigan, had an ordinary evening at his local spot, the Old Detroit Bar and Grille in Lake Orion, when he decided to purchase two Fast Cash tickets on November 27.

Initially assuming both tickets were non-winning, Cunningham, without his glasses, used the lottery app to double-check.

To his surprise, one of the tickets turned out to be a $160,000 winner in the Michigan Lottery's Jackpot Slots Fast Cash game.

Overwhelmed by the win, Cunningham expressed his disbelief to lottery officials, stating he was nearly speechless when he found out.

Visiting the lottery headquarters to claim his prize, he gleefully shared his plans to utilize the winnings for long-delayed home improvements and wisely save the rest for the future.
