N.C. man wins North Carolina Education Lottery’s scratch-off ticket worth $100k

A lucky man from North Carolina won a whopping sum of $100,000 playing N.C. education Lottery’s scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was at a convenience store in North Carolina. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $1000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

He said everyone else in the store began to celebrate with him when he realized he had won.

He hopes to use the money to bring his family from Mexico to the United States.

The North Carolina Education Lottery (NCEL) is run by the government of North Carolina. 

The revenue distributions are as follows: 51% was paid out in prizes, 38% was transferred into the education fund, 7% was paid to the retailers who sold lottery tickets, and 4% went to general lottery expenses.
