Powerball lottery ticket sold in Brad County is about to expire

If you bought a Powerball ticket in Bradford County last year, a $100,000 prize may be yours.

The ticket was sold in the April 18, 2022 lottery, and the winner must file a prize claim by the end of business day April 18.

The unclaimed ticket was purchased from Dandy Mini Mart at 44 Golden Mile Road in Towanda, according to a March 17 press release from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, which were 8, 33, 55, 59, and 62, along with the red Powerball 18.

“By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians,” the Pennsylvania Lottery press release said.

 The winning lottery ticket still remains unclaimed as the ticket was unregistered so the lottery officials urge all the lottery ticket holders to check their tickets and sign on the back of them.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters.

The player can also have the facility of calling or seeing mail to start the claiming process.
