Powerball third prize winning ticket worth $100,000 sold in New York

A winning Powerball lottery third-prize winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold in New York for Monday’s drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold at Mount Sinai’s Kings Mt. Sinai C-Store. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $1,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 1-4-12-36-49, with 5 as the Powerball. 

Due to the Power Play multiplier for Monday’s drawing of 2, the third place prize exclusive of the jackpot has been doubled to $100,000.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
