Ramsgate Man's Daydreams Become Reality with $1.7 Million Saturday Lotto Win

A Ramsgate man has confessed he still finds himself shaking his head and daydreaming about the future after bagging an incredible $1.7 million win in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The New South Wales resident held one of the three division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4401, drawn Saturday 23 September 2023, and pocketed a total prize of $1,720,285.71.

“You’d think I’d be more excited, but I think my body is still in shock!” the winner exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his win.

“I’ve just been shaking my head since I checked my ticket yesterday morning. “It’s unbelievable. I’ve always known the odds of winning, but I guess it’s my turn now.

“Regardless, I’m so grateful and this will undoubtedly change my life. “For one, I want to buy a house which means it’s time to hunt for that first home!

“It seems surreal to even say that!

“I can’t wait to tell my family. I’ll help my brothers and sisters and still be able to live the life I’ve always dreamed of. “Thanks so much.”

The winning entry was purchased at Ramsgate Beach Newsagency, Shop 2, 185 Ramsgate Rd, Ramsgate.
