Someone in Stamford is unaware of $10K lottery win

An area resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On Tuesday, a Stamford resident won $10,000 playing a "30X Cash 10th Edition" game.

The winning ticket was purchased from Vista Shell in Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as a public record.

The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.

If anybody has a winning ticket, the player must keep it safe and claim the winning prize by visiting the nearest lottery headquarters.

The player can also have the facility of calling or sending mail to start the claiming process.
