Winning $1 million mega millions lottery ticket is sold out recently

Check your tickets Northeast Ohio! Although nobody hit the $685 million jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery drawing for Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, one Ohioan is waking up as a millionaire after matching five numbers.

The winning $1 million ticket was sold in North Olmsted at Giant Eagle. The Ohio Lottery says there were thousands of different winning tickets sold in the state with varying prizes.

The winning numbers in the Friday night drawing are 1, 3, 6, 44, 51 and Mega Ball 7.

The Megaplier option was 3x. The Mega Millions jackpot now grows to an estimated $785 million, which features a cash option worth $395 million.

The next drawing will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 11 p.m.
