Winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $2M sold in Kansas

A winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $2 million was sold in Kansas for Friday night’s drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold at a local convenience store in Kansas. The store will receive a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 30-43-45-46-61, the Gold Mega Ball: 14 and the Megaplier: 2.

There were also 14 tickets sold that are now worth two-million-dollars each, two of which were sold in Kansas and Missouri. The other tickets were sold in California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70; the Mega Ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 25. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302 million.
