Winning Powerball ticket worth $2M sold in Dallas-Fort

One lucky Powerball player from Dallas-Fort became millionaire over the weekend, according to Texas Lottery officials. 

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $2 million was sold in Dallas-Fort for Saturday night’s drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at RaceTrac on State Highway 121 in the city of Plano; this ticket was a QuickPick. The ticket distributor will get a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were: 11, 24, 58, 66, and 67 with the Powerball 26. The ticket matched all five of the winning numbers excluding the Powerball. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The next drawing is set for Feb. 27 with a jackpot of $131 million which has a cash value of $66.9 million.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
