An South Australian woman who won a $1million dollar Lotto prize says her husband was reluctant to believe her because he thought it was a scam.

The woman purchased the ticket for the Monday X Lotto draw and realised she was a winner on Tuesday morning after logging into The Lott app.

'Something came across me last night to put a ticket on for Monday & Wednesday X Lotto,' she told lottery officials on Tuesday morning.

'Funnily enough, I also won $1,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket last week.'

'We (would) love to buy a brand-new caravan and travel around Australia,' she said. There were three division one winning entries in the Monday X Lotto drawn on Monday night.
