In a stroke of luck, an Arkansas resident has emerged as a winner of a $150,000 Powerball prize. The fortunate ticket was purchased at Doublebees restaurant located at 209 South Fourche Avenue in Perryville, according to officials from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

The winning ticket not only matched four numbers but also had the added Power Play option, which increased the reward from $50,000 to an impressive $150,000. However, the ticket holder has yet to claim their prize, as they have 180 days to do so, as per lottery regulations.

The recent drawing also brought good fortune to 1,795 individuals who received winning tickets worth $4 or more. The grand prize winner from Monday night's draw added to the excitement, bringing the total winnings for the night to $166,968.

Arkansas residents have been enjoying substantial prize offerings from both multi-state lotteries now played in the state. Wednesday's Powerball drawing boasts a jackpot of $400, while Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing offers a staggering top prize of $300 million.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery officials proudly state that since its inception in 2009, the lottery has generated over $1.2 billion in revenue dedicated to scholarships.
