A Lucky Corinda man who thought he won $100 later turns out to be a $100K Lucky Lotteries win.
The winner is a Brisbane resident who won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10688, drawn Tuesday, 20 September 2022.
The winning ticket was purchased online.
“This is the first time I have ever won such a large amount. I don’t believe this is real!” the winning man joked when an official from The Lott reached out to confirm the news.
“I went and checked my ticket and initially assumed I had won around $100.
“My first thought was, ‘what the h*** is going on here?’, and then I had to clean my glasses!
“I did a bit of a double-take, and sure enough, it was $101,000!
I believe this is payback for my good deed.
“I think we’re overdue for a night out. Even though we can’t celebrate the way we’d like, we’ll have a quaint celebration.
“There might be a vehicle purchase and an overseas trip in the future too!
“Thank you so much.”
