Cumberland County Sells $100,000 Winning Powerball Ticket

In the August 14, 2023 Powerball drawing, a fortunate lottery ticket with a value of $100,000 was successfully sold in Cumberland County.

This winning ticket found its buyer at the Giant store located at 255 S. Spring Garden St. in Carlisle. The Pennsylvania Lottery has confirmed that Giant will be granted a $500 bonus for their role in selling the ticket.

The Powerball with Power Play category managed to match four out of the five drawn balls: 32, 34, 37, 39, and 47, along with the red Powerball number 3. The Power Play multiplier for this occasion was drawn at 2.

The identity of winners remains undisclosed until they step forward and have their tickets officially validated.

The Pennsylvania Lottery strongly advises winners to promptly sign the back of their winning tickets.
