Polk County woman wins $1 million from gas station lottery ticket

Lucky day for a Haines City woman, who is now a millionaire after purchasing a lottery ticket from nearby gas station.

According to the Florida Lottery announcement on Friday, a Polk County woman won million dollar prize from gas station lottery ticket. 

Angelina Decker, 45, claimed her winnings from the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME Scratch off lottery game as a one time lump sum payment of $880,000, the officials said. 

Decker purchased her golden ticket from a Superway in Dundee. The convenience store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket, the lottery said.

The BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME scratch off game offers four top prizes of $15 million. The ticket holders also get the chance to win 24 prizes worth $1 million each.
