Herndon Man Splits $100K Maryland Lottery Ticket With Brother

A Maryland Lottery winner from Herndon named Jesus Vallecillo Serrano who won a whopping sum of $100,000 decides to split his winnings with his brother.

The winning Scratch-Off ticket was sold at 7-Eleven at 3570 Crain Highway in Bowie. The store will receive a bonus of $5000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The two brothers have not decided how they will spend their winnings, though some of the money will go toward paying bills and possibly making a down payment on a house.

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency is an independent agency of the Maryland government. The minimum age to buy Maryland Lottery tickets is 18; and casino patrons must be at least 21.
