Columbia County sells $362,00 in lottery tickets during September

The Columbia County makes Arkansas Scholarship Lottery sales worth $362,305 in the month of September, which is down from sales of $415,669 in August.

For September Columbia County had $232,274 in prize winnings awarded. This is down from $254,699 awarded in August.

The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery is run by the government of Arkansas.

Ticket buyers must be at least 18, which is the usual minimum age for US lotteries, but lower than in neighboring Louisiana. Video lottery is prohibited. Arkansas started selling scratch off tickets on September 28, 2009. 

Every Arkansas Scholarship Lottery instant game qualifies for entry into a "Play It Again" drawing. When the game is over, the top cash prize winner will be selected randomly from all qualifying entries for that game.
