A lucky Massachusetts resident named Davena Allen won Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $1 million during the $1.1B drawing by matching the first five numbers on their ticket.

The winning ticket was sold at a Wegmans grocery store located in Chestnut Hill. The store will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winner recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and received a one-time payment of $1 million before taxes. 

Mega Millions is an American multijurisdictional lottery game, it is offered in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
