No Powerball Jackpot Winners, But One Ticket Sold in San Jose is Worth $352,712

In the latest drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, no tickets were sold with all six numbers.

However, one ticket sold at a gas station in San Jose, California, matched the first five numbers and is worth $352,712.

While tickets with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, were sold in California and Iowa and are worth $1 million or $2 million, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

One ticket sold in Iowa is worth $2 million because the player utilized the Power Play option, where for an additional $1 per play, a ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, is worth $2 million.

The numbers in Monday evening’s draw are 2, 24, 34, 53, 58 and the Powerball number is 13. One ticket was sold matching five numbers and worth $1 million sold in California.

The jackpot's estimated value is now $725 million with a cash option of $366.2 million for Wednesday's drawing.
