Phoenix Safeway Sells Million-Dollar Mega Millions Ticket

On Tuesday night, a lucky person who bought a Mega Millions ticket from a Safeway in Phoenix won a million-dollar prize.
The ticket matched five numbers but not the Mega ball. The Arizona Lottery officials confirmed that the ticket was sold at the Safeway store located at 4747 E. Elliot Road.
The winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing were 31, 35, 53, 54, and 55, while the Mega ball was 24.
The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday, April 14, with an estimated jackpot of $476 million.
