Powerball jackpot rises to $800 million for next draw

$800M Powerball Jackpot up for grabs, players flock to San Jose 7-Eleven

The Powerball jackpot grew to $800 million for Saturday’s drawing as no one hit the big jackpot in Wednesday’s drawing.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were: 19-36-37-46-56 and the Powerball number is 24.   

The Cash value for this jackpot is estimated to be $335 million. 

A winning ticket must match the numbers on all five white balls and the red Powerball in the drawing. A winning ticket must be claimed in the jurisdiction in which it was purchased, regardless of residence. The minimum age to play Powerball is 18.

On January 13, 2016, the world's largest lottery jackpot, an annuity of approximately $1.586 billion, was split among three Powerball tickets in Chino Hills, California, Melbourne Beach, Florida and Munford, Tennessee, each worth $528.8 million.
