A lucky man from North Carolina named Joshua King won life-changing $2 million lottery during a 'Halloween' movie night with his son, playing NC Education Lottery game.

The winning ticket was sold at Times Turnaround on South New Hope Road in Gastonia. The store will receive a bonus of $20,000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

King recently claimed his winning amount from the lottery headquarters and chose the lump-sum amount of $1.2 million. He took home $852,126 after required required state and federal tax withholdings 

He plans to use the winning amount to help take care of his family and son's education.
