Powerball Jackpot Soars to $760 Million as Multiple Winners Emerge

The Powerball jackpot, soaring to a staggering $760 million, remains unclaimed post-Wednesday's drawing.

However, fortunes smiled on individuals in two different boroughs, with additional winners across several states.

In New York, two third-place prize-winning tickets worth $50,000 each were sold. One ticket hailed from Cruger Deli and Candy on Allerton Avenue in the Bronx, while the other emerged from La Melliza Minimi Market on 120th Avenue in Saint Albans, Queens.

Meanwhile, a ticket holder in Connecticut turned a third-place prize into $150,000 by correctly matching the Powerball, four numbers, and using the Power Play option.

The New Jersey Lottery website did not report any wins. Conversely, winners in California and Texas saw substantial gains, with one lucky individual scoring $1 million and another securing a whopping $2 million, respectively.
