Someone scooped National Lottery jackpot worth £7.4million

A lucky lottery player won a whopping sum of £7.4 million playing National Lottery just in time for Christmas.

The winning numbers were: 01, 03, 05, 17, 50, 52 and the bonus number was 11. And the winner matched all of the winning numbers.

Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

Players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
