Sydney teacher became overnight millionaire in Lotto draw

A teacher in Fairfield became an overnight millionaire after discovering a $1 million win in last night's Monday and Wednesday Lotto draw.

The winner held division one prize on Monday and Wednesday and Wednesday lotto draw 4183 which was drawn on 18 May 2022.

The winning 50-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries. 

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4183 on Wednesday 18 May 2022 were 17, 19, 14, 30, 12, and 27, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 28. 

When the lottery officials asked the winner how she plans to spend the win.

The woman said “I’ll go out for a nice dinner tonight, though.

“I’m going to use the money to pay off my home loan, spoil my kids, and share some with my family.

“It’s too overwhelming to plan what to do with the rest. I can barely believe I’m a millionaire now!”
