Tampa woman wins $1 million from scratch off lottery game

 A Florida lottery scratch off ticket purchased from Publix made a Tampa woman $1 million richer. 

According to the Florida Lottery news release, the 69 years old woman claimed $1 million prize from the new Gold Rush Limited scratch off game at the Lottery's Tampa district office.

Kathryn Williams purchased her million dollar ticket at the Publix located at 2724 Hillsboro Plaza in Tampa. 

The 69 years old winner chose to receive her winnings as a one time lump sum payment of $795,000.

The retail store will also receive $2,000 bonus commission for selling the big prize ticket.

"Gold Rush Limited" is one of the Florida Lottery's Newest scratch off games. The $2 scratch off game includes, 32 top prizes of $5 million, 100 prizes of $1 million and more than $3,300 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000.
