Texans are becoming millionaires lately and it seems like scratch-off tickets are the way to go if you want a chance at winning multimillion-dollar prizes.

A resident in Denton, Texas, near Dallas, claimed a winning scratch-off ticket prize of $1 million Monday, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery.

The local, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the Millionaire Maker scratcher from the Horizon Food Mart located at 1205 E University Drive, Denton, TX 76209.

The $30 scratch-off ticket has 15 $1 million prizes to hand out and so far seven of those have been claimed, according to the Texas Lottery website.

The chances of winning any prize on the Millionaire Maker game are one in 3.54, the website says. Millionaire Maker saw recent million-dollar wins for a resident of Houston in March and another resident in Lubbock in January.

On May 16 a San Antonio played the $1,000,000 Crossword game and also won $1 million.
