3 Powerball tickets worth $50K sold in N.J. as jackpot rises to $120M

In a stroke of luck, Middlesex County, New Jersey, saw three $50,000 Powerball wins in Wednesday's lottery drawing.

The winning tickets were purchased at QuickChek on Egan Avenue in Woodbridge's Fords section, Wawa on Englishtown Road in Old Bridge, and Wawa on New Durham Road in Piscataway. Each ticket secured the third-prize by matching four numbers plus the Powerball.

Despite these substantial wins, no player across the country clinched the $102 million jackpot, setting the stage for an estimated $120 million prize in the upcoming Saturday draw, with a cash option of $59.4 million. Additionally, a $1 million second-prize ticket was sold in Vermont, matching five numbers without the Powerball.

Wednesday's winning numbers were 18, 22, 43, 61, and 65, with the Powerball number 2 and a Power Play of 4x. Moreover, the secondary $10 million Double Play drawing also went unclaimed, featuring numbers 14, 38, 51, 53, and 55, along with the Double Play number 25. The anticipation grows as players await the next Powerball draw.
