Tiny Township man wins big cash prize from Lotto 6/49 Canada lottery

Anastasios Panagopoulos, of Tiny Township wins more than $78,000 from Lotto 6/49 draw from May 22. The lucky Winner plans to buy a new home with the winning money.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bingham's Variety on Tiny Beaches Road in Tiny Township. 

Panagopoulos was got lucky on his ENCORE selection, his ticket won extra $2 on ENCORE. 

The painter was shaking after he saw the big amount on the screen while he was checking his lucky ticket. "I went to check my ticket using the ticket checker and saw $78,176. I started shaking. I was so excited I brought the clerk to the ticket checker." Said the 47 years old house painter. 

He called his girlfriend the next moment to tell her about his winning. At first his girlfriend didn't believe him. "She was so happy." He said. 

Panagopoulos is a regular player since he moved to Canada from Greece in 2004.

The lucky house painter plans to use the money for down payment on a new house.
