A $1 million Powerball prize from a ticket sold in Houston's southwest area in July 2023 is on the verge of expiration as the winner has yet to come forward, announced the Texas Lottery.
The unclaimed second-tier winning ticket matched all five white ball numbers 7-10-11-13-24 but missed the red Powerball number (24) during the July 19, 2023 drawing. Purchased at Big Shot on 9780 Bissonnet St., the prize remains untouched.
The deadline to claim this substantial amount is fast approaching, set for Monday, January 15. If unclaimed, this sizeable prize will lapse, leaving the winner out of a $1 million windfall.
