Washington, D.C. man wins $200,000 top prize in Virginia Lottery game

Kevin Pullins, a man from Washington, D.C., experienced a pleasant surprise when he discovered that he had won the top prize for one of the Virginia Lottery's games.

Pullins had purchased a Livin' Lucky with Luke Combs ticket at a Harris Teeter in Arlington. He was the first winner of the game's top prize of $200,000.

Normally, Pullins buys his Virginia Lottery tickets on Monday for the entire week. However, he had some extra cash and decided to purchase an additional ticket, which led to his unexpected win.

When Pullins found out about his win, he couldn't believe it. "I thought I was going to have a heart attack! I wanted to make sure it was real," he said to the Virginia Lottery.
