Winning lotto 47 ticket is sold out recently in Michigan worth of $5.42M

The largest Lotto 47 jackpot of the year was won Wednesday as a winning ticket worth $5.42 million was sold through the Michigan Lottery website.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers drawn -- 02-05-14-30-32-42 -- to win the grand prize for the drawing held on Sept. 28.

Prior to Wednesday night’s win, the last time anyone won the Lotto 47 jackpot was on June 18, 2022.

The previous largest jackpot of the year was won on April 20, 2022 when a $3.39 million jackpot was won by a player who bought a ticket at the Meijer gas station, located at 1174 Centerville Road in Sturgis.

The winner has only 180 days from the day of the lottery draw to claim the winning prize money and if not claimed then it will be donated to a charity, lottery officials said.
