Winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 sold in Salem

A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Salem for Massachusetts State Lottery drawing. 

The winning ticket was sold at Route 114 Citgo in Salem. The store will receive a bonus of $500 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket. 

The winning numbers were: 24-26-39-47-57, Powerball: 23, Power Play: 2X

The next Powerball drawing will be Monday at 11 p.m. The jackpot is an estimated $416 million.

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m.
