A winning Powerball lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Newburgh for the Saturday's drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Smokes For Less on Plank Road in Newburgh. The store will receive a bonus of $500 for selling the winning scratch-Off ticket.

The winning numbers were: 24, 26, 39, 47 and 57 with a Powerball of 23. And the winning ticket matched four winning numbers and the Powerball. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
