Winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold in CT

A winning Powerball ticket which is worth $1 million is sold in Connecticut according to Connecticut Lottery. 

The winning numbers were: 19, 36, 37, 46, 56 and the Powerball was 24. The winning ticket matched the five white balls and the Powerball.

The winning Scratch-Off ticket was sold at a local convenience store in Connecticut. The store will receive a bonus of $1000 for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket. 

The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize from the lottery headquarters. 

Powerball is an American lottery game offered by 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time, at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
